The 400 calorie diet?

I actually got a magazine called the 400 calorie meals by Prevention Guide (May 2010) It actually so far makes alot of sense to me. I was always worried about having to write down my calorie intake. Then perhaps forgetting to do it and then not knowing what the amount I ate. I used www.sparkpeople.com for about 3 months and lost 12lbs for me, I know the success is about the calories consumed.

So after reading this magazine, i thought why not break up my calorie intake to three 400 meals.. being able to add a few to dinner as its always bigger (I dont know why?) and then it would still allow me some snacks throughout the day. My goal... to go towards 1500-1600 calories which will still allow me to loose weight.

  1. I think that's a great idea! Just remember that it's all in the planning. It's when we don't have a plan in place or when we haven't prepared in advance that we slide back to the easy answer of a high calorie or high fat meal or snack. You can do it!
